Alsace in France, located in the extreme eastern part of France bordering Germany, produces some of the best white wines in tasting the world.

The two most famous French grapes used in white wine in the U.S. and Canada, notably Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer from Alsace. This region, formerly part of the Roman Empire, changed hands between France and Germany several times between the ages 17 and 20.

The world's best Riesling wines come from this regiontoo. However, the grape comes from the Rhine on the German side. Gewurztraminer as if it originated in the Rhine in Alsace, between the Black Forest and the Vosges on the French side.

Gewurztraminer is very aromatic and usually off-dry, with a floral bouquet of litchi. The nose, it exudes aromas of roses, passion fruit with floral notes.

This wine is fruity, characteristic gives the impression of a sweet wine, but actually contains much less sugarthen the faith. It 's a perfect wine for amateur wine drinkers, especially those who may not like wine. It gives the impression of a high quality grape juice for drinking.

As dry Gewurztraminer to a less sweet, but because they are considered more of a spiced wine, are one of the few wine drinking with Asian cuisine! Another very good match with this wine would be smoked salmon.

This wine has a golden lighttreasure, and to discover, you should not go beyond looking at it in the French region of Alsace. Gewurztraminer any imitation from other parts of the world does not even begin to be delicious, joyful and distinctive flavor, and drinking themself as Gewurztraminer, excuse my French, it would be to deceive yourself.
